MOD Main building lit up to support Pride

LGBTQ+

Everyone in the Army, no matter what their sexual orientation or gender identity, has the right to be treated fairly with dignity and respect.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Soldiers serve throughout the Army's corps and regiments playing their part in the country's security.

LGBTQ+ personnel have the same terms and conditions as everyone else; this includes parental benefits and pension arrangements for same-sex spouses or civil partners.

The Army welcomes transgender personnel and all who apply to join the Army must meet the same mental and physical entry standard as any other candidate.

The Army LGBTQ+ Forum exists to ensure that all LGBTQ+ serving personnel can find advice and support with issues that affect their daily lives.

People in camouflage uniforms form heart shapes with their hands in a circle, symbolizing unity and friendship.
